I thought being an Entrepreneur would...
But that’s just a fancy word for trying to figure out what I want to do on my own.
After starting my first business at age 25 and growing it to $1.9 Million in revenue it’s first year, you would think I felt free…
I wasn’t.
The constant stress of keeping the business moving forward to pay all of the employees and expenses…
That’s not feeling free.
Fast forward a few years, my daughter was born, followed by the market crash and I had to close my business.
Back to Corporate America I went.
And I promise you, that definitely didn’t feel free lol.
So here I was, doing what every good father/husband does, working at a job to pay the bills.
Monday morning meetings.
Wednesday check-in meetings.
Friday afternoon meetings...to basically make sure you are working the full 40 hours they pay you for.
Not living my life on my own terms and definitely not free.
That’s when I launched a digital marketing agency.
I figured if I was going to work to make money, I might as well do it on my own terms.
I had no idea what all was involved in running a digital marketing agency.
But I knew it had to be better than working in Corporate America.
So I got started.
And no, I do not have a degree in Web Design or Marketing lol
In fact at that time I didn’t even have an Associates Degree.
And yes I failed quite a few times.
Thankfully I figured it out.
I hired a coach/mentor to help me minimize my failures.
And I developed my web design and online marketing skills.
Now, 11 years later & Father of 4 (don’t worry I’m snipped now), my agency is making over $400k/yr…
